Philippa Reid is a paper artist whose passion is Quilling (the art of Paper Filigree). She says: “I believe that the rolling and shaping of paper strips has almost limitless artistic potential, and I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of this beautiful, ancient art.”
Philippa is a fully Accredited member of the international Quilling Guild, which now ranks her in its Masters category for competition purposes on the strength of the quality of her work. She is also an enthusiastic member of the Guild’s committee in the UK.
In addition to creating her own highly original quilled pictures, jewellery and greetings cards, she also promotes Quilling publicly through workshops, demonstrations and personal tuition. In addition, she works hard to promote the art online through social media and the Guild’s websites. Philippa is well known in the Quilling world as Editor of the Guild’s highly-regarded magazine, Quillers Today, and also publishes the popular Quilling Now! blog exclusively for Quilling Guild members.
