Vanessa’s artistic journey blends passion with exploration. Starting with drawing, painting, and quilting, she found her true calling in mono printing, merging texture, shape, pattern, and colour in vibrant, spontaneous mixed media pieces.
The sea deeply inspires her work, with its colours and plant life influencing her use of seaweed, found objects, and stencils to create intricate layers. Metallic mediums add a dynamic quality, making her art shimmer and shift with light.
Her background in psychology informs her intuitive, emotionally rich approach.
Vanessa also co-facilitates Well-being Wednesdays at the Arts Hub, participates in the Bridgwater Pride arts project, and offers gel printing workshops to inspire others.
