Debbi Sutton’s artwork sits quietly, showing the viewer a different perspective of the magnificent trees and sky at Little Yarford Farmhouse. Sutton says, “The mirror is simply present. The reflection is just there. I invite the viewer to meet the world anew.”
Debbi creates site-specific installations, sculpture and writing; recording history; remnants and traces; presence and absence. She plays, exploring and experimenting with ephemeral media, finding beauty in the broken discarded and overlooked. As an artist Sutton desires to be an educator, wanting viewers to think and, through thinking, make connections; to become a little more knowledgeable about their world and themselves.
